葡萄牙北部有一座奢华庄园被其原主人遗弃，现在只剩下一位固执的老管家仍在守护。她的丈夫去了法国工作，留下她和一个不安分的女儿。庄园主人丢弃的旧地，象征着旧秩序的消失，其最后的守护者，是这位老仆人。她决定继续守护这座庄园，她相信主人最终会归来。。A young girl lives with her mother in an isolated mountain cabin. Mother dies, the girl also has a child. No father is present. A friendship is formed with another woman but things start to become twisted. Paranoia and delusions follow。
