The film is a follow-up to Kvedaravicius’ 2016 doc Mariupolis, which followed the lives of everyday citizens in Mariupol as the threat of war with Russia escalated.。童年的江小艾在一场车祸中目睹了母亲的去世从而在心中蒙上了一层阴影。小艾的爸爸为了让女儿走出阴影想方设法给她编织了一个魔法故事，小艾在这个魔法故事中逐渐长大，确实走出了童年的阴影，但是又变成了一个深度中二病患者…。
