本剧改编自手冢治虫的同名漫画，讲述了由于幼年时期与母亲发生的心理创伤，变得讨厌爱的近石昭吾（佐藤胜利饰），住在不爱的女性家里，拿钱维持生活。昭吾只对与青梅竹马的渡弘美（髙石明里饰）的关系感到特别，但某天，昭吾得知弘美对自己抱有好感，因为恨爱而犯了决定性的错误，害死了弘美。 昭吾在自己所到达的世界里，被女神宣告了某种惩罚。那就是“无论转世多少次都爱着一个女人，在结合之前死去”。由于无法逃避的转生循环和女神的启示，昭吾流浪于多个世界，开始面对爱……！？。The film is a dramatic re-enactment of real-life events that took place in 1968 in the small village of San Miguel Canoa in Puebla, México.
