From a ramshackle hut on the Sulawesi sea, this yoda-like old man tells his story, recreated in 4K with the most beautiful images of the Ba...。民国初年，军阀混战。著名学者夏希尊受段祺瑞北洋政府的邀请，离开苏州前往北京出任教育部官员。一家四口逶迤来至大军阀张宗昌（刘金山 饰）统治的济南府，混乱之中夏的一双儿女寄萍（林妙可 饰）和子建被人贩子拐走。几番周折，两个孩子被善良的中年男子王大富买走。王和老婆（陈小艺 饰）是济南底层的普通老百姓，夫妻二人靠馍馍房辛苦度日。王用买粮食的钱换回两个孩子，惹得老婆怒火中烧，不过最终寄萍姐弟俩还是在王家安顿下来。转眼经年，为供弟弟上学，寄萍拜隔壁的殷诚茹（寇振海 饰）学习山东琴书，后转而学习京戏，最终成为名震一时的京剧名伶。 但在当时的乱世，一个如花似玉的可人注定要面对多舛的命运……。
