该片根据作家本多孝好的人气小说改编，导演由曾执导《未来预想图》（2007）的导演蝶野博掌镜。故事讲述了一个五口之家，父亲是小偷，母亲是结婚欺诈师，另外还有收养的3个孩子。某天，母亲在与目标男外出吃饭准备欺诈之时，不料被对方识破“欺诈计划”，随即将母亲绑架索要赎金，为了救出母亲，没有血缘关系的一家人想尽了各种办法……。The warmhearted story of Polish immigrant and mathematician Stan Ulam, who moved to the U.S. in the 1930s. Stan deals with the difficul t losses of family and friends all while helping to create the hydrogen bomb and the first computer. 波兰科学家乌兰姆于上世纪30年代移居到美国，他在帮助科研团队制作氢弹的过程中，他还要处理和面对一些个人得失。。
