离海5分钟，从最近的车站开车约50分钟，想以徒步离开几乎不可能！如此超偏僻的地方，有一所完全住宿制的名门男校——私立栖凤高中。就读于这所全寄宿制高中的学生全都是渴望女孩与恋爱的男生......。20世纪末，供职于天音中央医院的呼吸内科医师折井绫乃（草刈民代 饰）因被不伦恋人高井医生（浅野忠信 饰）抛弃，一度选择轻生。该事件令这位美丽的女子成为医院中饱受争议的焦点人物。在极度失意的时候，和善宽宏的患者江木秦三（役所广司 饰）让绫乃感受到珍贵的温暖与惬意。这对别样的医患，在交谈呵护过程中建立了深深的信赖。自感去日无多的江木，某天向绫乃提出一个令人为难的请求，那便是希望对方减少他的痛苦，让他安详且有尊严的死去。在“安乐死”尚未得到法律认可的时代，绫乃面临着前所未有的重大选择…… 本片荣获2012年日本电影旬报十佳影片第四名。。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
