上世纪二十年代中期，草原上普通的哈萨克族人萨里姆萨克因在反对一夫多妻制的戏剧中反串女性而被妻子嫌弃有辱家门。他在争吵中无意地说出“Talaq（离婚）”，根据当地的宗教传统，只要丈夫对着妻子连说三遍“Talaq”，就意味着离婚。从来没想过离开妻子的萨里姆萨克到处祈求解决办法，妻子却在“妇女解放”的流行口号影响下萌生离婚心思…… 萨里姆萨克的传统小家庭在时代洪流中的崩溃隐喻，是导演达尼亚尔·萨拉马特电影的内核缩影，萨拉马特从处女作起就坚持哈萨克语创作，他认为电影在社会教育中有很大意义，没有电影的进步，民族精神就无法恢复。。Takashi and Yuriko are like any other young couple.
