故事描述，广东十虎之一谭敏（傅声）之侄谭聪，在赌馆当巡场；一夜，十虎的徒弟及后人等四人，在赌场相聚时，旗人佟七（王力）带着前清官之子梁小虎突袭，把谭聪杀死。原由是十虎之黎仁昭（狄龙）、谭敏等，昔日曾把梁父杀死，以助反清义士蔡民义脱险。梁小虎遂决意与师叔佟七、佟八连手，杀死仍在世的十虎及其后人、传人，为父报仇……。铲除贪腐，捍卫法律，唤醒良知，警示世人，这就神圣的国徽赋予人民检察官的正义使命！本剧部分取材于真实案例，讲述了江州市检察院反贪局的检察官和侦查员们与形形色色贪腐分子做斗争并最终将他们一一绳之以法的故事。本剧力求将党的要求、国家的法律、政策和司法机关的职能融入剧情，以检察说社会，以社会说检察，生动的再现一个个精彩纷呈的案件，鞭辟入道的剖析出一段段洞察人性的启示……。It's Halloween 1965 in Hollywood and is also the last day that a drive in which the hang out of some youths who call themselves the Hollywood Knights will be open.
