该剧是以1931年至1938年期间日本帝国主义侵略中国为大背景，讲述了一个发生在水乡小镇的三大家族两代情仇的故事。小镇上生长了一片美丽的茉莉花园，不仅生长在龙脉上，而且地里的茉莉花可以泡制上等的茉莉花茶。民族资本家林桐箴、“青帮”龙头顾绍棠与本埠巨商公孙长生三家，为争夺“第一香”茶园和花茶秘笈而引发家族之争，老道的顾绍棠趁雨夜雇凶血洗公孙宅，从死亡边缘逃脱的公孙家遗孤公孙雷兄妹从此踏上了报仇血恨之路。。It's amazing to have finally seen this lost film. Poor Mark Burns died this year without ever having seen the finished film! Why was it lost? It's quite good but I can understand that even if this film had a normal release in cinemas it would not have been a hit. It's too sad and tragic. The performances are great, tho.
