Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty. But on top of the excruciating hardship of the work, they also have to fear an attack from the army.。故事发生在节日气氛浓厚的平安夜，一封神秘的来信让五个个性迥异的男人聚集在了名为“海之家”的海边旅馆之内，他们分别是性格超级自恋的杉本（山田孝之 饰）、花心但桃花运欠佳的猫田（室毅 饰）、大大咧咧风风火火的仁科（小柳友 饰）、鲨鱼爱好者松山（山本裕典 饰）和海之家的老板（佐藤二郎 饰）。 写信的女子名叫江里子（户田惠梨香 饰），在曾经共处的日子里，面容俏丽个性开朗的江里子成为了大家共同爱慕的对象，这一次，收到江里子的来信，他们都坚信，自己才是江里子真正喜欢着的那一个。时间渐渐流逝，一个人影出现在了海之家门口，然而，这个人却并不是江里子，而是一直企图拆除海之家的律师关口。。
