Based on a true story, Rematch takes us on a gripping journey inside the world of high-level chess competition...。女孩美丽（瑛子 饰）正处于青春期，性格叛逆，高考落榜那天父母离异，美丽跟母亲（芙蓉 饰）一起生活。已近更年的妈妈在爸爸（曹宇宙 饰）搬走后常发无名之火，这让美丽无法忍受，她从爸爸手中要了一笔钱，开起了出租车，而且她喜欢开夜班车，因为这时收音机里有一档“午夜驿站”的栏目是她的最爱，她喜欢上了节目主播米佳（王玮 饰）。美丽想心动不如行动，她化名“丑丑”打电话给米佳，直言威胁米佳若不爱她她将自杀。一直暗恋美丽的小马（小飞 饰）劝她不要异想天开，但执拗的美丽已走火入魔，听不进任何劝告，她天天在电台门口等下夜班的米佳，为的就是从他口中说出那句“我爱你”......。
