上流社会名媛桃丽目睹丈夫被孪生杀手刺杀，警方派尹和猫仔保护目击证人。某夜桃丽要去参加好友的生日派对，在派对上孪生杀手对其动手，幸好有尹及时相救，桃丽感激尹的救命之恩，送了一条名贵领带给尹，两人开始慢慢熟悉了解对方。与此同时，尹因与太太霭明相聚时间少发生多次争吵。尹迷惘中情陷桃丽，清晨，孪生杀手潜入大厦，一阵枪战过后，其中一名杀手被击毙。另一杀手为了报酬，挟持了尹的孩子……。ABC在提交独占罚款下，宣布开发诗选剧《民权运动里的女子 Women of the Movement》，剧集由Marissa Jo Cerar负责执笔，Jay-Z﹑Will Smith及Aaron Kaplan的多家制片公司联合制作。 《民权运动里的女子》首季改编自Devery S.
